SGI Scar Imaging
It may not be anyone’s idea of a fun photo shoot but If you have been in an accident in Saskatchewan that has left scars on your body, you may need the scars visually documented by a professional photographer.
Your adjuster will keep these images on record and review them in order to determine your payout. This process usually happens about a year or longer, after your initial injury as they want to see how the scar has healed.
If you require scarring imagery please contact me to book a session time.
In order to book your scar session, you MUST: have your Permanent Impairment Form filled out by a doctor or a physiotherapist. I will need to take a copy of this form before the session.
This service is done at no cost to you, session costs are submitted directly to SGI.
Each scar requires a long-shot of the body part affected (leg, arm, face) as well as two close up shots with the length and width measurements. If you have more than two scars that need to be photographed at once, I may need to speak to your adjuster before the photo session can proceed.
If the images are for a person under 18, or if the scars are located on areas of the body of an intimate nature, you are welcome to bring a support person with you.
Photos are done by appointment only, at my studio located at #212 - 1933 8th Ave. There are stairs to get to my studio. If needed special arrangements may be made to have your session at a different location. Additional charges will apply for on-site sessions and these are not covered by SGI.
Once the images are processed, I will submit them directly to SGI for their files.

I love to work with individuals and couples and come up with some pictures that really show the true you. We will take our time and have some fun taking some posed pictures and a lot of candid shots to reveal to the lens who you are.
In the studio, outside, favorite park, coffee shop, patio, you name it lets go out and have some laughs and press pause on a few great moments in a day.
Our time together, mixed with some spontaneity will work well to provide a fun experience and memorable pictures.
It is easy to say “we will do it later” then the moment is gone. Grab your partner, best friend or just treat yourself to a shoot to capture who you are right now. Go beyond just phone pics and social media.
After your shoot we can go thru the pictures and choose a selection of our best shots together. You can then download the digital files and also order prints right from my studio.
